Deuce is my first Basenji and got me involved in dog shows. I knew I wanted a black and white Basenji and had been looking for quite some time when I came in contact with Carolyn Rollins who thankfully let me have him. His first show weekend out he earned seven points with a five point major and I was hooked. Deuce finished at the Louisville, KY shows with a 4 point major and a breed win over top specials, handled all the way by Kathy Caton. Soon after finishing I decided I would try and handle him as a special. In six months of campaigning Deuce finished as the # 18 Basenji in the country for 2003. Deuce is now retired. He is a very beautiful black and white with great movement and a wonderful personality and temperament. Look for Deuce at select specialty shows or at any show we are travel to, he loves top ride along.
